Become a Teacher Ambassador
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Teacher Ambassador for the Education Foundation of Sarasota County. Through the Teacher Ambassador program, one teacher from each school in the district will serve as a liaison to the Education Foundation. Your voice matters—and this is a great opportunity to share input and provide us feedback. You will play an important role in helping us best meet the needs of students and teachers, and you will have opportunities to network with fellow teacher leaders from across the district.
As an ambassador, you will be asked to attend meetings as needed, in person or virtually. We anticipate no more than one meeting per month. At these meetings and through other communications, we will seek your feedback and provide you with Education Foundation updates, announcements, events, opportunities, and other pertinent information. Ambassadors will be asked to disseminate this information to teachers and staff at their respective schools. For their service, Teacher Ambassadors will receive a stipend of between $160 and $500.00, depending on the number of Teacher Ambassadors in the program. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with ambassadors and reach all our amazing teachers within Sarasota County schools.
