Student Success Centers
We provide students with the resources they need to reach their full potential. That’s why we’ve established Student Success Centers. At a Student Success Center, you can work closely with an advisor to learn more about the pathway you wish to pursue after high school. You can also attend financial aid nights and workshops on college- and career-related topics such as SAT preparation, writing resumes, and many others.
If you need assistance at any stage of the college admissions process or if you’re looking for the right career field or branch of the military, you can find answers and invaluable guidance. From meeting college admissions officers or local business owners to learning how to write a stronger college essay, great things happen at Student Success Centers.
Currently, there are Student Success Centers at North Port High, Riverview High, Sarasota High, and Suncoast Polytechnical High School. In addition, Sarasota County students at all schools can take advantage of college-career advising services available at LaunchPad4U, the Education Foundation’s community resource center centrally located near downtown Sarasota. Due to Covid-19 guidelines, in-person meetings may be restricted, so check with your Student Success Center to find out. Even if you can’t meet an advisor in person, you can always schedule a virtual appointment.
For students from other high schools in Sarasota County, you can connect with a college and career advisor virtually to get the assistance you need.
