Find a Mentor
Need help planning and preparing for your future pathway beyond high school? Would you benefit from a trusted advisor who would provide you one-on-one support? Are you highly motivated to pursue a pathway beyond high school but not quite sure how to navigate all the options and decisions?
We understand that balancing school and planning for your future while holding down jobs and facing challenges at home can be daunting. But with a mentor, you can get positive, non-judgmental support that can help you navigate the journey.
Your background and family structure or situation don’t matter. If a mentor could help you realize your aspirations after high school, we want to help build a relationship.
I was excited and scared after I got accepted to a large university. My parents hadn’t been to college, and I had many questions and concerns—so I jumped at a chance to have a mentor. My mentor’s advice and support made all the difference.
To be part of the mentoring program, you will need to meet and uphold these requirements and expectations:

- Attend school regularly (no more than four absences per quarter)
- Stay drug and crime-free
- Exhibit good behavior in and out of school
Postsecondary refers to post-high school education, including two-year and higher college degrees and/or workforce relevant industry and professional certifications from technical colleges and military service.
