Student Mentoring

Interested in being paired with a mentor? Book your appointment to get started!

We understand that balancing school and planning for your future while holding down jobs and facing challenges at home can be daunting. But with a mentor, you can get positive, non-judgmental support that can help you navigate the journey.

To be part of the mentoring program, you will need to meet and uphold these requirements and expectations:
  • Be a high school student in Sarasota County.
  • Share your plans for education after high school.
  • Attend and participate in workshops and meetings.
  • Engage in a financial literacy workshop.
  • Attend school regularly (no more than four absences per quarter).
  • Stay drug and crime-free.
  • Exhibit good behavior in and out of school.
