Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program

Eligible students may qualify for one of the following scholarships – Florida Academic Scholars Award (FAS), Florida Medallion Scholars Award (FMS), Florida Gold Seal CAPE Scholarship (GSC) or the Florida Gold Seal Vocational Scholarship (GSV).

Florida Rep Education College Scholarship

Florida Retired Educators Foundation (FREF) Scholarship

Statewide scholarship opportunity for graduating seniors who wish to become teachers in Florida. The recipient will be expected to teach in a state-accredited public or private school in Florida for at least one year, following graduation.

Jump Start Scholarship

Award: 30 Florida Prepaid credit hours at a Florida college or technical school valued at up to $3,400
High school seniors graduating from a Sarasota County public or charter high school who are planning to attend a Florida college or technical school and can demonstrate financial need are eligible.

Launching Leaders in the Arts Awards Program

Organization: National League of American Pen Women Sarasota Branch

Seniors in public schools in Sarasota and Manatee County are eligible. Competition categories include Visual Arts, Letters (Writing) and Music.

Lindsey Maibach Scholarship Fund

Seniors at BHS, NPHS, RHS, SHS or VHS with a minimum 2.4 and a max of 2.99 cumulative unweighted GPA who are planning to attend a community or four-year college are eligible.

Oaks Women’s Club Scholarship

Roger Dearing Heart of the Arts Award

Roger Dearing Spirit of Sport Award

Sarasota Manatee Council NLUS Scholarships

Southern Scholarship Foundation

Qualified students attending FAMU, FGCU, FSU, Santa Fe College, Tallahassee Community College, and UF are awarded scholarships in the form of rent-free housing to live in one of twenty-seven furnished scholarship houses that are adjacent to their college campus.

Nationwide undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with a minimum 3.5 GPA and financial need who are planning to attend a 4-year college in Fall 2023.
