Award: $3,000 – $10,000
Students who demonstrated leadership through participation in school activities, community service, and citizenship and maintained a minimum of a 2.3 to 3.3 un-weighted GPA. Students with an un-weighted GPA above 3.3 CANNOT apply.
Award: $1,000 – $25,000
Employees of Chick-fil-A can are eligible to apply for two different scholarships to be used at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or technical/vocational school.

Seniors in public schools in Sarasota and Manatee County are eligible. Competition categories include Visual Arts, Letters (Writing) and Music.
Organization: Lindsey Maibach Memorial
Seniors at BHS, NPHS, RHS, SHS or VHS with a minimum 2.4 and a max of 2.90 cumulative unweighted GPA who are planning to attend a community or four-year college are eligible.

Available to Sarasota County seniors who have a minimum 3.5 grade point average and demonstrates financial need, academic record, character, and the ability to overcome challenges.
Organization: Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH)
Award: $1,000 – $3,000
African American students in Sarasota or Manatee counties with minimum 3.0 grade point average and demonstrated leadership in their school and community are eligible.

Available to female students attending any Sarasota County School graduating in 2022.
Award: up tp $200,000
Nationwide scholarship for academically outstanding high school seniors from households earning less than $65,000/year for a typical family of four.
Organization: William G. and Marie Selby Foundation
Local scholarship for Sarasota County residents with severe and profound hearing loss.
Organization: Sarasota LIONS Club
Local renewable scholarship for Sarasota County graduating seniors who plan to enter a technical school, a community college or a 4-year college with financial need and a personal/family history of eye issues or a disability.

Qualified students attending FAMU, FGCU, FSU, Santa Fe College, Tallahassee Community College, and UF are awarded scholarships in the form of rent-free housing to live in one of twenty-seven furnished scholarship houses that are adjacent to their college campus.
