As we continue to exercise our mission of “enhancing the potential of students and promoting excellence in teaching and inspiring innovation in education,” we are excited to open a facility that will allow students (and their families) from all Sarasota County public schools access critical and tangible resources.

For some time, the Education Foundation of Sarasota County has recognized that we must think about how to build a network of support for students, on whom we depend for the future, to creatively tackle the 21st century challenges that we are just beginning to grasp.

Located at: 1413 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota, FL 34236

While we quickly adapted to the pandemic shutdown of school campuses and made many of our resources available in digital format, we recognize that not all students have access to technologies to meet virtually for services. It was clear there was a need for a space that would provide the critical and tangible resources of support needed.

To that end, we opened the LaunchPad4U — in effect, a learning lab — to experiment with potential solutions that help students, teachers and parents. Our focus has been on helping prevent students from falling behind and instead accelerating their achievements. Click here to read more about our new space.
