Bagley serves as the program delivery partner for FIRST®️ Robotics throughout a 16-county region for over 100 teams and 500 volunteers. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and anticipates working with community partners to expand opportunities for women and young girls in technology. Her commitment to quality training is evident from her previous experiences as an Amazon virtual customer service trainer and team manager, and as a highly-ranked national trainer for Fortune 500 companies through SkillPath/CompuMaster.
She attributes her core leadership principles – process improvement, thinking big and continued learning – to the success of all her endeavors.
The event will provide an overview of SCF STEM programs for teachers and students which include 1) teacher paid training on STEM education (Robotics, Coding, A.I., etc.), 2) observer stipends for assisting with STEM camps sponsored by SCF, 3) STEM Camp teacher focus group to gather feedback. Participants will be immersed in a STEM simulation activity and demonstration followed by Breakout sessions to collaborate and consider creative ideas, feedback, and best practices for implementing STEM activities within classrooms. The event will conclude with a Whole Group discussion on discovery from breakout sessions.
