Ignite Education Teacher of the Year Award Celebration
Event Date: December 13, 2024
Location: Venice Community Center
Event: The annual Ignite Education Teacher of the Year Award Celebration showcases approximately 50 teachers in these districtwide awards:
1. The district Teacher of the Year Award recognizes a teacher who exhibits commitment and leadership and who motivates students to learn through remarkable methods and passion.
2. The Innovation Teacher of the Year Award recognizes a teacher who successfully employs innovative, outside-the-box teaching methods.
Ringling Bridge Run
Event Date: April 28, 2024
Location: Start/finish line: Bay Park in downtown Sarasota
Event: A 5/10K run and an education and student resiliency expo.
