Ways to Give
We do great things for students and teachers in Sarasota County in large part because of your generosity. With your financial support, we can work to ensure that each and every student in Sarasota County Schools can access the resources and the excellent education that will enable them to pursue their dreams.
When you give to the Education Foundation of Sarasota County, you can designate how you would like to allocate your donation. You can support our College, Career, and Life Readiness initiative; our EducateSRQ—Classroom or Schoolwide Grants; our mentoring program; our scholarships; or simply select where it’s needed most.
You can also support these two endowments:
SHIRLEY A. RITCHEY ENDOWMENT FUND
Founder Shirley Ritchey began an endowment fund giving generously to the Education Foundation to support the operations Gifts to this fund do not directly support the schools, but they do provide significant indirect support by allowing us to fulfill our mission.
LORI WHITE ENDOWMENT FUND
Former Superintendent of Sarasota County Schools Lori White served Sarasota County as an educator and administrator for nearly 40 years. During her tenure, our district was A-rated every year, ever since the beginning of the state-wide rating system. Help us to ensure we can honor Lori’s legacy and promote teacher excellence.
There are many ways to support the Education Foundation. Make a difference today!
Our annual fund ensures flexibility when opportunities arise, provides for operations, and goes to the Education Foundation’s greatest needs.
With your help, we provide invaluable support for our students and teachers in Sarasota County.
A great way to support teachers and students in Sarasota County is through our monthly giving program. When you give monthly, you help students get much-needed technology or mentoring that will help them realize their dreams. You make it possible for young people to get important college and career advising. You ensure teachers get needed classroom supplies—and recognition for the important work they do.
By donating at the $1,000 level or higher, you will become part of our Circle of Champions. You will make an invaluable impact on the lives of so many of our students and teachers—and make an investment in maintaining a vibrant, thriving community.
