Description:
The purpose of the Bradenton/Sarasota (FL) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated Exemplifying Excellence Scholarship program is to provide scholarship monies for full-time female students of African American descent pursuing undergraduate degrees at an accredited College or University.

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be a female student of African American descent graduating senior planning to attend an accredited Post-Secondary College or University for the 2023- 2024 school year.
  • Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale or a 4.0 cumulative GPA on a 5.0 scale.
  • Must have demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular, or other activities.
  • Applicant must reside in Manatee or Sarasota counties.
  • Applicant must be a United States citizen.
  • Must provide an official transcript and two letters of reference with application.
