Description:
Through rent-free housing and cooperative living, Southern Scholarship Foundation supports students who lack financial resources, demonstrate excellent academic merit, and exemplify good character attend institutions of higher education. Qualified students attending Florida A&M University, Florida Gulf Coast University, Florida State University, Santa Fe College, Tallahassee Community College and the University of Florida are awarded scholarships in the form of rent-free housing.
Requirements:
- 3.0 Cumulative GPA
- Financial Need based using the FAFSA and/or the Student Aid Index
- Essay
- One letter of recommendation
- Interview for selected applicants
The deadline for Spring consideration is November 1st.
The deadline for Fall consideration is April 1st.
