The Sandra K. Lacey Scholarship is for deaf Sarasota County residents. The scholarship may be used for a variety of post-secondary education opportunities (e.g., certifications and degrees). No deadline (rolling).
- Applicants must be Sarasota County residents with severe and profound hearing loss. This refers to a person who cannot detect sound at an amplitude of 71 or higher decibels.
- Applicants must include proof of hearing loss (e.g., audiogram, medical diagnosis) and Sarasota County residency (e.g., identification card, home or utility bill) when applying.
