Retsy Lauer Visual Art College and Pre-College Scholarships

Description:

Two scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each will be awarded to two Pine View School students enrolling in either:
1) a pre-college 2024 fine arts summer program (only for underclassmen – 10th or 11th grades), or
2) enrolling in an accredited art school, college, or university for the 2024-2024 school year (for graduating seniors).

This a one-time scholarship and will be awarded on the basis of the following criteria:

  • Must be a Pine View School student
  • Graduating senior students must be enrolling in an accredited art school, college, or university in Fall 2024;
    underclassmen must be enrolling in a pre-college program at an accredited art school, college, or university in the summer of 2024
  • Student must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Student must demonstrate artistic ability as evidenced by the submission of a sample portfolio (film and/or video mediums are also accepted) and artist’s statement
  • Student must include any past recognitions, honors, or awards
  • Student must demonstrate community involvement and extracurricular activities
  • Application and sample artwork must be submitted online by creating a user ID here
