High school seniors who are active National Honor Society (NHS) members in good standing of an affiliated NHS chapter are eligible to apply for the scholarship. There are no limits to the number of applications per chapter. Students’ NHS membership must first be verified by their adviser after the member creates a student account on the NHS website. After verification, members use their login to access the NHS Scholarship application.
• A high school senior
• An active NHS member in good standing
• Currently enrolled at a school with an affiliated NHS chapter
• A member of the graduating class of 2022
• Planning to enroll at a postsecondary college or university in fall 2022
December 1, 2021: Deadline for student application, adviser certification, and one recommendation. All completed materials must be submitted by 1:00 p.m. (ET) on the deadline date. Applicants are responsible for verifying that all materials have been submitted.
Eligible NHS senior members must create an account online to apply at www.nhs.us/create-an-account. When creating an account, each NHS member will be required to confirm their current enrollment at a school with an active NHS chapter.
