Join Our Board as a
Student Representative

Represent the student voice as a board of directors member. The Education Foundation of Sarasota County is recruiting a student representative for the organization’s board of directors. This is a great opportunity for students to show off their school spirit and earn community service hours.

One student representative will be a current high school senior who will serve as a full voting member of the board. One student will be a current high school junior who will serve as a non-voting member of the board. (The high school junior board member may be eligible to serve a second one-year term as designated high school senior upon approval at a board meeting.)

Complete online application by May 5, 2023.

Be rising senior—Class of 2024—or a rising junior—Class of 2025.

Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Demonstrate leadership and actively engage in your school community.

Actively engage with the Education Foundation by attending committee meetings, board meetings and representing the Education Foundation at select events.
