Three Sarasota County teachers were surprised Tuesday, Nov. 13, when they were revealed as finalists for the district’s elementary, middle and high school 2019 Teacher of the Year honors. The 2019 finalists are: Tessa Healy, Wilkinson Elementary School; Shane Swezey, Oak Park School; Ashlee Middleton, Sarasota High School.
