Students from North Port, Venice, Riverview, Sarasota, and Booker High School who have made positive changes in their lives while overcoming personal and/or academic difficulties will be honored during a ceremony on April 24th at Michael’s On East in Sarasota. Chosen by their guidance counselors, five juniors and five seniors from each school will be recognized. Each senior will also be presented a $2,500 scholarship to aid in the student’s pursuit of a postsecondary education. Full Media Alert
